How the Bitget Referral Program Works

Bitget, founded in 2018, focuses on derivatives and copy trading and has grown quickly in Asia and Latin America. Its referral program is task-based and pays both sides in BGB, Bitget's own token.

According to Bitget's support article, an invited user who completes tasks within 15 days (logging in to the app and reaching spot and futures volume targets) unlocks BGB airdrops and Mystery Boxes for both sides.

Affiliates can create custom codes and share part of their rebate with you, which is where the "20% fee discount" claims come from. The large "up to 6,200 USDT" figures on code sites are the ceiling of the whole new-user package, not a guaranteed amount.

How to Apply a Bitget Referral Code

1. Copy a code from the list above (ours is first) or open the invite link next to it.
2. Go to the official Bitget sign-up page (bitget.com). Type the address yourself or use the link here, and check the domain before entering any data.
3. Enter your email or phone number. Open the "Referral / invitation code (optional)" field and paste the code. If a different code is already filled in, replace it before you continue.
4. Finish registration and complete identity verification (KYC). Most rewards are only credited to verified accounts.
5. Complete the qualifying actions described below within the deadline, then check the rewards or voucher centre in your account.

Forgot to Enter the Code?

Enter the code during registration. Bitget does not document a way to add a referrer to an existing account.

Who Can Use It: Eligibility and Countries

Bitget does not serve the US, Ontario (Canada), the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong or the Netherlands, and does not accept new EU/EEA clients because it has no MiCA licence yet. Sanctioned countries are excluded. Bitget's terms of use (updated 20 October 2026) name Austria, France and Germany among the countries whose residents may not use the platform.

Local rules: Availability depends on where you live, not on the code. In the US and UK many global exchanges either run a separate local entity or do not accept new clients, and the UK FCA requires crypto promotions to come from authorised or registered firms. Always check the exchange's list of restricted countries before you deposit.

Security Record

Security note: on 24 September 2026 attackers took about $388 million from Bitget's hot and warm wallets, and withdrawals were paused until 2 October. Bitget says client balances weren't affected and its Protection Fund covered the loss.

• September 24, 2026: Unauthorised transfers from part of Bitget's hot and warm wallets. Bitget first estimated about $351.6 million and later put the impact at about $388 million; withdrawals were paused and resumed in phases from 28 September to 2 October 2026. Bitget says user balances were unaffected and the loss was covered by its Protection Fund, which it topped back up above $300 million on 30 September 2026. Mandiant and SlowMist were brought in to investigate.
