How the Nexo Referral Program Works

Nexo is a crypto wealth platform founded in 2018, with savings, credit lines and an exchange. Its referral programme pays both sides in NEXO tokens, but only once the new user holds at least $5,000.

The friend signs up through the link, verifies their identity, adds at least $5,000 in digital assets within 30 days and then keeps or grows that balance for another 30 days.

Both sides then split a bonus of 0.5% of the friend's 30-day average balance, paid in NEXO tokens. At a $120,000 average that's $600 in total, $300 each. Balances above $1 million don't add anything, so the cap is $2,500 each.

Who Can Use It: Eligibility and Countries

Nexo's help centre says it doesn't operate in Bulgaria, Estonia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Central African Republic or the US states of Alaska, New York and Vermont, and individual products vary by country. Nexo isn't in the EU's MiCA register, so we don't list it for EU readers.

Local rules: Availability depends on where you live, not on the code. In the US and UK many global exchanges either run a separate local entity or do not accept new clients, and the UK FCA requires crypto promotions to come from authorised or registered firms. Always check the exchange's list of restricted countries before you deposit.

How is the Nexo referral bonus calculated?

0.5% of the new user's average balance over the 30-day holding period, split equally, capped at $2,500 each.

Is there a Nexo referral code to type in?

No. Nexo works with referral links; you have to register through the link itself.

Does using a Nexo referral code cost anything?

No. The referrer is paid by Nexo out of the trading fees, not by you. Codes that share part of that commission with you (a "kickback" or fee rebate) can actually lower your fees.

Can I use more than one code?

No. An account can be linked to one referrer only, and the link is set when the account is created. Choose the code before you register.

Are the bonus amounts on code sites real?
