How the CoinEx Referral Program Works

CoinEx is a global crypto exchange founded in 2017. Its referral rewards are a share of the trading fees the new user pays, split between the inviter and the friend and paid in CET, and a missed code can still be added within 7 days of registration.

When the friend trades, both the inviter and the friend earn a portion of the trading fees that friend generates. Rewards are paid in CET and credited the next day.

The referral ratio depends on the inviter's VIP level: 15% at VIP0, then 20%, 25%, 30% and 35%, up to 40% at VIP5. CoinEx doesn't publish how much of that goes to the friend, so ask the inviter before signing up.

After 6 months the rewards are halved, and after 12 months neither side earns anything more. Market makers, fee-cashback volume and self-referrals don't count.

How to Apply the CoinEx Code

  1. Copy the code or open the referral link.
  2. Register on coinex.com and enter the code in the referral field.
  3. Missed it? Open Account Overview and bind the code within 7 days.
  4. Trade; rewards arrive in CET the next day.

Forgot the Code? Adding It Later

If you didn't enter a code at sign-up, you can bind one yourself on the Account Overview page within 7 days of registration. After 7 days the option disappears.

Who Can Use It: Eligibility and Countries

CoinEx prohibits users from the United States, mainland China, Hong Kong, Canada, the whole European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Iran, North Korea, Cuba and any other comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction. It isn't MiCA-authorised, so we don't list it for EU readers.

Local rules: Availability depends on where you live, not on the code. In the US and UK many global exchanges either run a separate local entity or do not accept new clients, and the UK FCA requires crypto promotions to come from authorised or registered firms. Always check the exchange's list of restricted countries before you deposit.

Regulation and MiCA Status

I forgot the code

How much does the invited friend get on CoinEx?

A portion of their own trading fees back in CET. CoinEx publishes the inviter's ratio by VIP level but not the friend's exact share.

Is CoinEx available in Kazakhstan?

No. Kazakhstan is on CoinEx's list of prohibited jurisdictions.

Does using a CoinEx referral code cost anything?

No. The referrer is paid by CoinEx out of the trading fees, not by you. Codes that share part of that commission with you (a "kickback" or fee rebate) can actually lower your fees.

Can I use more than one code?

No. An account can be linked to one referrer only, and the link is set when the account is created. Choose the code before you register.

Are the bonus amounts on code sites real?

Large "up to" figures are usually the maximum of a whole new-user task programme that very few users complete. We show the exchange's own terms instead, so you know what is realistic.
