How the HTX Referral Program Works

HTX, formerly Huobi, is a global exchange founded in 2013 with spot, futures and earn products. Its referral programme pays the inviter a share of your trading fees and opens the new-user rewards to you.

The inviter earns 30% of the net trading fees you pay on spot and futures (60% for official HTX Affiliates). Net fees leave out anything covered by vouchers, trial bonuses or zero-fee promotions.

HTX's referral rules say a new user who signs up with an ordinary user's code can claim a Mystery Box worth up to 1,500 USDT and a Welcome Bonus Pack worth up to 1,200 USDT. With an affiliate's code you get the Welcome Bonus Pack and occasional extra gifts. Those are ceilings: what you actually get depends on the tasks shown in the app.

Sub-accounts can't invite, and self-referrals or duplicate accounts void the rewards.

How to Apply the HTX Code

  3. Complete identity verification.

Forgot the Code? Adding It Later

HTX links you to an inviter only when you register through their link or code, and doesn't describe a way to add one later.

Who Can Use It: Eligibility and Countries

HTX doesn't serve mainland China, the US, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Russia or any EU member state, nor sanctioned countries and the occupied regions of Ukraine. Derivatives are also barred in Taiwan, Israel, Iraq, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Ecuador, Kyrgyzstan and New Zealand.

Local rules: Availability depends on where you live, not on the code. In the US and UK many global exchanges either run a separate local entity or do not accept new clients, and the UK FCA requires crypto promotions to come from authorised or registered firms. Always check the exchange's list of restricted countries before you deposit.

HTX does not appear in the ESMA interim MiCA register as of October 22, 2026, so it is not listed on our EU-language pages.

Security Record

In November 2023 attackers hit HTX hot wallets and the HECO bridge. HTX said it would fully compensate hot-wallet losses and restored deposits and withdrawals after a short suspension.

No. HTX's user agreement excludes every EU member state, the UK and Russia.

How much is the HTX Mystery Box worth?

Up to 1,500 USDT according to the referral rules, plus a Welcome Bonus Pack of up to 1,200 USDT. Both are maximums; the contents depend on tasks.

Does using a HTX referral code cost anything?

No. The referrer is paid by HTX out of the trading fees, not by you. Codes that share part of that commission with you (a "kickback" or fee rebate) can actually lower your fees.

Can I use more than one code?

No. An account can be linked to one referrer only, and the link is set when the account is created. Choose the code before you register.
